e-GO , the newest initiative of the car sharing concept of electric cars, is now available to the citizens of Sarajevo. During yesterday’s Day for Citizens, those interested had the opportunity to learn more about this innovative service, register, download the application and from today try the quiet and simple experience of city driving. The promotion was attended by representatives of local and other levels of government, as well as company directors who recognize the importance of the arrival of the service, which is already common in the world’s metropolises. Among the partners who supported the project from the beginning are Guma M, Porsche BH and Sarajevo Osiguranje, with significant support from the Municipality of Centar.

Aldina Hadžić, Aldina Hadžić, director of the company e-GO doo, emphasized the advantages of car sharing and the electrification of the auto industry and public transport: “After several months of preparations, I am happy that from today our e-GO is officially available to citizens who want to move around more simply to the city and perform their duties, and thus together with us create a new, urban way of life”, pointed out Hadžić, and thanked all the partners who supported the project from the very beginning.

To use the service, you need to download the e-GO application from Google Play or the App Store, complete the registration, which requires a driver’s license and a debit or credit card. The application will read all the locations where you can pick up or, after driving, park your car.

With our mobile application, users can easily locate, reserve and unlock their chosen vehicle. By choosing e-GO, citizens contribute to a cleaner environment and play an active role in building a more sustainable future,” said Hadžić.

The term CarSharing is a form of short-term car rental in urban areas, which implies the independent use of the vehicle, not including transportation. e-GO was created as a solution to current problems in Sarajevo, concerning parking, environmental pollution and too many cars on city streets. Precisely in these busy environments and dynamic lifestyles, e-GO CarSharing is the ideal solution, regardless of whether you need a car for half an hour, a few hours or a longer period.
